what is a registor ?

Registor -> registor is a divice which is used to decrease voltage in the ciruit
For example :- if you have 4 volt led bulb light and if you connect it to 9 volt 
battry directly it will blow out so to overcome this problem we will use 10 oms
registor and it will reduce the voltage and then we will be able to glow the 
led light
